Power facilities targeted in the region
The country's power facilities have come under escalating strikes in recent weeks

Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused power cuts in large parts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were injured while local people in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and faced problems to drinking water, according to municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a minor was fatally injured in a separate aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, according to local officials.

Russian forces has increased strikes on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while officials has requested "concrete actions" from partner nations to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not window dressing but strong steps - from the US, Europe and the Group of Seven - in supplying air defence systems and implementing sanctions," mentioned in a public message.

He said that 450 drones and several dozen projectiles targeted energy facilities, characterizing such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were working to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles damaged power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Multiple people wounded in the assaults on the capital have been hospitalized, per statements from city authorities.

Area administrators said the city came under significant strikes during nighttime hours. A seven-year-old child lost their life and multiple civilians were injured.

The assaults succeed periods of bombing campaigns in the area, parts of which are occupied by invading troops.

All of Ukraine is in a state of readiness for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to identify.

National leaders told journalists that Moscow was deliberately attempting to destroy the electrical infrastructure, with attacks already affecting gas facilities.

Officials stated utility staff and authorities were anticipating more assaults.
